How to play Scorpion Solitaire

Before making a move, check the cards in view. Complete four same-suit king-to-ace runs. Select cards directly on the tableau and work through a full solo deal. Take the next action only when the current step is clear. Treat this as a chance to practise one rule. Move a face-up card with its tail onto the next higher same-suit rank. Kings fill empty columns. The same rule applies on a phone and on a computer.

Seven columns; three stock cards dealt once to the first three columns. Free solo play, no wagering.

Practice with a purpose

Keep the active rule in mind. Select a face-up card and then the destination pile or Empty slot. Return to the explanation when a decision is unclear.

The controls to know

Click or tap cards and piles. Wide tableaus scroll inside the game; use Undo, Hint and New deal where shown. Take the next action only when the current step is clear. Use the rule sheet as a reference.

Put the rules into context

The trailing cards may be unordered, but the destination suit and rank must match. The same rule applies on a phone and on a computer.
